It’s never a bad idea to have a couple favorite appetizer recipes up your sleeves – especially when it comes to the holidays. There’s so many opportunities to get together with friends and family, it’s nice to have a dish that’s tried and true, yet fresh and new.
Spinach dip is the tried and true but we’ve come up with a couple new twists on this party favorite.
Back in the day, spinach dip was served in a hollowed out loaf of bread. Our fresh take still includes bread but we’ve taken a baguette, sliced it and made little pockets to hold the dip. The fresh veggies get first dibs on the filling and then when they are gone, the rest can be eaten. Genius!
You may be thinking that you don’t remember there being any potatoes in your mom’s spinach dip which brings us to the second twist. Our recipe includes Idahoan Three Cheese Chipotle Soup which adds creaminess plus just a hint of spice.
