How to Cook
Hash Browns Made Easy
- Step 1
Fill carton to fill line or with 2 cups boiling water.
- Step 2
Close carton and let stand for 10 minutes and then drain.
Caution: Contents will be hot!
- Step 3
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil* (butter or margarine may be used) in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
Spread potatoes firmly and evenly over the oil.
- Step 4
Cook uncovered for 4-6 minutes or until bottom is brown. If desired, turn and cook an additional minute to brown.
* Adding ½ Tbs of vegetable oil per serving contributes to an additional 40 kcal and 5g of fat per serving
