This sweet potato bread is loaded with all the flavors of fall – nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. Toast it and spread with a little cream cheese for an extra decadent treat.

Sweet Potato Bread
Serves: One loaf or two mini loaves
  • 1 pouch Honest Earth Sweet Potatoes
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅛ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ cup chopped chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon each, sliced almonds and chopped dried cranberries for topping
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Stir together the Honest Earth Sweet Potatoes, sugar, oil and egg. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together flour through chocolate chips.
  4. Add the sweet potato mixture and mix until well blended.
  5. Place batter into a loaf pan sprayed with pan release or divide mixture between two greased mini loaf pans.
  6. Sprinkle almonds and dried cranberries on top and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into loaf(s) comes out clean.
