JR's Instapot Ham & Cheese Scalloped Potatoes

JR, an Idahoan employee and dedicated dad, created this creamy, cheesy Ham & Scalloped Potatoes recipe as a simple, affordable weeknight dinner for his two daughters and it quickly became a family favorite. Give it a try, your family might just ask for it on repeat!

INSTRUCTIONS

1. 1Add water, chicken bouillon cube, and kosher salt to Instapot.
2. 2Add the pouch of potato slices, diced ham, sharp cheddar and parmesan cheese and mix thoroughly.
3. 3Securely close lid until it clicks to ensure it is tightly sealed.
4. 4Press the Meat/Stew button and set timer for 5 minutes.
5. 5The display will show "ON", indicating the cooker is heating and building pressure (this may take about 9 minutes).
6. 6Once the pressure is reached, the 5-minute cooking countdown will begin automatically.
7. 7When cooking is complete, carefully turn the pressure knob to venting position to release the pressure.
8. 8Open lid and garnish with course pepper and garlic salt.
9. 9Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
