Swedish Meatballs Mashed Potato Bowl

Swedish meatballs with gravy are the perfect one-bowl meal when served over creamy Idahoan® mashed potatoes. Grab prepared meatballs for an easier version.

Swedish Meatballs Bowl
Serves: 4
For the meatballs*
  • ½ pound ground pork sausage
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs (panko works great!)
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ¼ tsp ground allspice
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 12 ounce jar prepared beef gravy
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground allspice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
To assemble
  • 4 oz package Idahoan® Butter & Herb Mashed Potatoes or any other flavor favorite, prepared to package directions
  • 12 ounce frozen green beans, prepared to package directions
  • Parsley, chopped
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Mix together all the meatball ingredients. Using your hands, form into 1-inch meatballs. Place on the prepared sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
  3. Warm gravy and Worcestershire sauce over medium-high heat, just until it begins to bubble around the edges.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the sour cream and spices. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Divide mashed potatoes between 4 bowls. Top with meatballs, gravy and green beans. Garnish with chopped parsley.
